M.Tech (Nanoscience, Nanotechnology) Admission-2012
Delhi University invites applications for admission to M.Tech (Nanoscience, Nanotechnology) for the academic session 2012-2013
Eligibility:
A candidate must have qualified the Joint Admission Test (JAM-2012) to M.Sc in Physics/ Chemistry/ Electronics conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), and few seats are also available for meritorious candidates qualifying the M.Sc Admission Entrance Test (2012) conducted by the University of Delhi
Bachelor’s degree with Physics/Chemistry/Electronics as a subject with 60% aggregate marks for general category and 55% for all reserved categories
Completed at least one year course in Mathematics
Scholarship:
All the selected candidates shall be provided scholarship of Rs 3,000/- p.m. to be sponsored by Dept of Science and Technology (Govt of India), or by University of Delhi
Salient Features:
Approved and sponsored by Dept of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt of India
Selected students may be sent to reputed National and/or International laboratories for dissertation/ course work
The course is being jointly conducted by Dept of Physics and Astrophysics and Dept of Chemistry under Faculty of Science of the University of Delhi
Seats: The total seats for the course is 15 (reservation of SC/ST/OBC candidates will be done as per the University norms)
- Application forms and admission bulletin/brochure are available from 10th May, 2012, Thursday (tentatively) at Delhi University website http://www.du.ac.in under PG admission section
- Final selection from the short listed candidates will be done on the basis of performance at the interview
- Last date for the receipt of the application form is 29th June, 2012, Friday along with the demand draft of Rs 250/- as application fee in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi payable at New Delhi

- Candidate who has completed any Master’s degree or pursuing any Master’s degree will not be eligible for this course
