The college was inaugurated on 17th June, 1995 by the patron Mar. Kuriakose Kunnacherry in an old building of Maryland High school. In 1996 it was shifted to the edifice on a hilltop sprawling in 10 acres of land, conspicuously unique for its semi-circular form, in tune with the undulating hills.
